The David VOS project began more than 20 years ago—back when Tony was fresh out of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Art and Game Design—and it started life as something far bigger than a book: a 3D animated film series.

For over five years, Tony poured himself into the production—writing a full film script, then modeling, texturing, rigging, and building characters, environments, and props from the ground up. After years of persistence, investor interest finally arrived and the project grew from a one-person passion into a small, dedicated studio team. A full 90-page script was recorded with stage and voice actors. What started in a garage moved into a multi-room office, fueled by pitch decks, business plans, animation demos, trailers, posters, and a shared belief that the story mattered.

But the scope was massive—and eventually, the production became too heavy for a small team to carry.

However, despite the closing of the studio and everyone going their separate ways… THE PROJECT DIDN’T DIE

David: Valley of Shadows is more than a book series—it’s a long-term creative universe. The novels are the foundation for a growing multimedia world that includes graphic novels, 3D prints, a digital visual novel, a 3D animated web series, a video game, and more.

This is the culmination of 20+ years of labor, learning, and belief that stories can entertain, challenge, and leave readers stronger than they were before.
